CLINIC MANAGER-RURAL HEALTH
Looking for a highly motivated individual with leadership skills, the Clinic Manager is responsible for the supervision of employees within the Rural Health Clinic and or department; provides staff scheduling; works with employees to resolve complaints and issues; customer/resident/patient complaints resolution; and work assignments. The Clinic Manager may, under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, participate in the budgeting process, hiring activities, orientation of new employees, and write performance evaluations of employees. Supervises and instructs all employees responsible for the delivery of Clinic services Education/Experience. Minimum of three-five years of supervisory experience- Minimum of three years clerical required and clinical preferred; Basic computer knowledge is required; Strong ability to adapt to rapidly growing and changing work environment.

Job Summary: Performs specialized life sustaining procedures in a hospital-based advanced care ambulance service.  Responsible for providing immediate emergency care and transport for the critically ill or injured under the direction of medical control physician. Responsible for responding to requests by the nursing staff or physician staff to assist with ALS interventions and to assist with emergency cares within the emergency department according to protocols and polices approved by the hospital and emergency department medical director, and hospital policy. Performs other duties related to the provision of care as assigned after appropriate training. Under the supervision of the Home Health/DME Manager and PMC’s fiscal managers, this position is responsible for assisting with accurate, timely billing; completing general receptionist and clerical services; managing sending/receiving physician orders and reimbursement source documentation; filing; DME communication; and is responsible for assisting with oxygen and  PAP set-ups, distribution, requisition and management of supplies and equipment. The Coordinator assists with fitting, instructing and delivery of all DME products.  He/she gathers charge information, medical and billing codes, enters information into database, distributes billing information to PMC’s PARs, and assists with the billing process as indicated.   Education/Experience:  High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.  Minimum of one to two years of medical work experience with coding and billing exposure preferred.  Experience or training with computer operations.
